Course Overview
This White Card course covers the basic Work Health and Safety (WHS) knowledge required before anyone commences work within the construction industry. It will help you comply with the industry’s legislative requirements.
In this course, you will gain knowledge around how WHS affects your personally, about the fundamental cores of risk management, and about preventing illness, injury and endangerment.
Assessment
You will be assessed in the session, and will be required to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to gain competency.
Requirements
You will need to bring some photo identification to the training.
Course Inclusions
Upon successful completion, a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment will be issued for the following units of competency:
- CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

COVID-19 Requirements
To ensure a safe training environment, all social distancing requirements will be enforced within a disinfected venue. Each student will be provided with the appropriate personal protective equipment, and access to hand sanitiser/hand washing facilities.
