Federal Incentives for Employers & Employees

Employment Consultants, Disability and Aged Care staff are now on the Australian Apprenticeships Priority List, eligible employers may access the Priority Hiring Incentive (PHI) a Federal Government initiative to address skill shortages. The qualifications listed below offered by genU Training meet PHI criteria and claiming is simple: the online apprenticeship system will notify you when milestones are met.

Note: Incentives are unavailable if the employee has completed the same qualification within the past 7 years.

For Employers

  • $1250 after 6 months
  • $1250 after 12 months

Total: $2500*

For Employees

  • $1250 at 6 months
  • $1250 at 12 months

Total: Up to $2500*

*Incentives are subject to eligibility, ongoing enrolment, and active employment at each milestone. Part-time employees receive pro-rata payments.
