Several genU Training students have recently been fortunate enough to embark on placement at genU Participate, a disability support service focused on building confidence through tailored programs and activities.

With one-on-one and group activities available, genU Participate fosters the development of social skills and the creation of meaningful connections. Participants, who are encouraged to engage in activities based on their individual abilities and interests, have the opportunity to pursue hobbies such as arts, crafts, cooking, gaming, music, dancing, acting, walking, swimming and more.

genU Training has been working with genU Participate to successfully place CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability and CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health students in work experience opportunities. genU Participate programs are valued experiences for genU Training learners, with many learners and graduates being offered ongoing employment post placement.

United by the shared goal of building inclusive communities, the synergy between genU Training and genU Participate means that we can continue to organise fruitful placement opportunities for our learners.
