The Project PROSPER group program empowers job seekers with the essential knowledge and tools to successfully enter or re-enter the workforce. It also provides guidance on managing physical health and embracing a healthier lifestyle.

Participants will gain skills to identify workplace risks, prevent injuries, and enhance their overall health and wellbeing. The interactive sessions ensure participants are prepared for sustainable, long-term employment success.

Delivered by an allied health professional over three days, participants will learn how to identify workplace risks, prevent injuries, and optimise their health & wellbeing.

Day 1
Introduction to workplace injuries and physical health overview, review of case studies in industries such as retail, hospitality, building and construction.

Day 2
How to reduce and prevent injuries (including role played scenarios) of situations participants may find themselves in when returning/entering the workforce +disease management + manual handling.

Day 3
Importance of a creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle e.g. sleep, diet, exercise, and work preparation.

As well as learning the importance of goal setting, motivation and building resilience.
