This 60 minute module will explain the appropriate measures to prevent the spread of infection to help protect both clients and staff in the workplace. Upon completion, you will be awarded a digital credential to add to your professional profile.
Module inclusions:
- Infectious diseases and how they are transmitted
- The chain of infection
- Standard precautions that reduce the transmission of infectious agents
- Transmission-based precautions (TBP’s)
- Client-centred infection control.
