Domestic Assistance Training is a comprehensive course designed to equip participants with essential skills for providing high-quality support in various domestic settings. The training emphasises the importance of infection control, focusing on both general practices and client-centred approaches to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals receiving assistance. Participants will learn how to implement effective infection control measures, including proper hand hygiene, the use of personal protective equipment, and safe practices for managing potentially contaminated materials.

In addition to infection control, the course covers critical aspects of housekeeping, including the safe handling of chemicals and hazardous manual handling techniques. Emphasis is placed on housekeeping essentials, such as maintaining clean and hygienic environments, and understanding the proper use and storage of cleaning agents. By addressing these key areas, the training ensures that participants can perform their duties safely and efficiently while adhering to best practices for health and safety in domestic assistance roles.

Domestic Assistance Training is a non-accredited course.

On successful completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Participation.
