Fundamentals for DES brings together industry best practice and up to date information, providing a strong foundation of knowledge and skills to help you achieve high quality outcomes in the new DES landscape. This microcredential includes five modules and will take approximately five hours to complete.
Upon completion, you will be awarded a microcredential to add to your professional profile.
Modules include:
- The Disability Landscape (75 mins)
- Recognise Ability, Build Capacity (60 mins)
- The Quality Framework (60 mins)
- The Employment Journey (60 mins)
- Resilience & Self Care (60 mins)
Complete a short assessment in each module to receive your microcredential.
Virtual and face to face training
Virtual and face to face training can be added to the Fundamentals for DES Microcredential to ensure your leaders and frontline team have a thorough understanding of how to align your organisation’s service offering with the Quality Framework.
Leaders First Package $599 p/p (minimum of 10 people)
5 x 45 minute facilitated virtual workshops to prepare your leaders to support their teams.
Face to Face Package $700 p/p (minimum of 10 people)
2 x 7-hour classroom training to bring your team together, ready for change.
Induction Package $499 p/p + $1500 one off fee
5-hour consultation to map your organisation’s key objectives and redesign your induction program.

There are no entry requirements for this microcredential. To complete the course, you will need basic digital literacy skills and access to a laptop, desktop computer or full-size tablet that is connected to the internet.
