With an increase in employment opportunities, our Commercial Cleaning Services Ready program will equip you with the knowledge you need to work in the industry.
You will learn how to prevent contamination, use the correct PPE, correct use of cleaning agents and how to create a safe work environment for yourself and others. In addition, you will gain your Construction Induction (White Card), First Aid certificate and Infection Control (COVID-19) certificate.
This course includes non-accredited content with the addition of the following nationally accredited unit(s):
- CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
- HLTHSS003 – Perform general cleaning tasks in a clinical setting
- HLTAID011 Provide first aid
- Non accredited – Infection Control Training (COVID-19)
What will you learn?
- Knowledge around how WHS affects you personally, about the fundamental cores of risk management, and about preventing illness, injury and endangerment.injury and endangerment
- Identify a waste hazard in a clinical setting and the appropriate processes to follow to ensure safety of yourself and others
- How to respond to an emergency, provide appropriate first aid and how to perform CPR
- The basics about COVID-19 including how the virus spreads, how to protect yourself and others and what to do when persons you are caring for develop symptoms.

CPCCWHS1001 PREPARE TO WORK SAFELY IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
Today covers the basic Work Health & Safety (WHS) knowledge required before you can commence work within the construction industry. You will gain the knowledge you need to comply with industry legislative requirements, manage risks and prevent injury in the workplace. |
Day 2 & 3

HLTHSS003 PERFORM GENERAL CLEANING TASKS IN A CLINICAL SETTING
On day 2 & 3 of training you will learn how to identify a waste hazard in a clinical setting and the appropriate processes to follow to ensure safety of yourself and others. You will learn practical cleaning skills to support you in the workplace, including mopping, vacuuming & WHS compliant cleaning methods whilst maintaining cleaning industry standards. |

HLTAID011 PROVIDE FIRST AID
Today you will learn how to respond to an emergency, provide appropriate first aid and how to perform CPR. |
Day 5

INFECTION CONTROL TRAINING – COVID – 19
Today you will learn the basics about COVID-19 including how the virus spreads, how to protect yourself and others and what to do when persons you are caring for develop symptoms. |
Digital Badge – Commercial Cleaning Services Ready
Upon successful completion, you will earn a recognised Training U For Work microcredential which is a great addition to your resume and can be verified by an employer anywhere, any time!
Upon successful completion, a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment will be issued for the following units of competency:
- CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
- HLTHSS003 Perform general cleaning tasks in a clinical setting
- HLTAID011 Provide first aid

During your study, you will need to meet specific requirements that are necessary for you to complete your course work and be successful:
- Students will need to demonstrate that they have the appropriate language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills
Victoria
While students and other visitors attending onsite (excluding paid or volunteer workers) are no longer required to show evidence that they have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination, those undertaking placements must continue to adhere to the vaccination mandate that applies to their sector and/or their placement host.
Australian residents can access this course via our full fee for service rate.
