Which course should I select?

Our experienced Course Coordinators are available to assist in choosing the right course for you. We meet with you and discuss your past learning, current skills, knowledge and interests along with your job and study aspirations. This information helps us guide you into a course that meets your learning needs.

How much will the course cost?

See our Fees page for a full listing of our course costs.

You may be eligible to access funded training subsidised through the Victorian Government’s Skills First Program. genU Training Course Coordinators will be able to assist you with determining your eligibility for accessing this subsidy.

Is there an online version of my chosen course?

genU Training predominantly delivers courses designed to prepare students for work in the Community Services sector, supporting people with specific needs.

To provide you with the most appropriate learning opportunity, these courses are delivered face-to-face. This allows you to fully develop the skills and knowledge required to work in this sector as you are guided and fully supported by experienced trainers in active learning environments. genU Training is committed to supporting you to be job-ready by providing hands-on learning and opportunities to practise skills to gain confidence.

Will genU Training help me organise my vocational placement?

Many of our nationally accredited qualifications require learners to take part in a vocational placement during their course.  This is a particularly valuable part of the learning experience.

As genU Training is a branch of one of the largest Community Services organisations in Victoria, we have strong industry links in many areas such as disability, mental health and ageing. We will assist you to organise your placement and fully support this experience via regular assessor visits and communication with your host employer.
